The club is a joint venture between residents and CLV to install a permanent layout for HO and O-gauge scale trains. This project has been in the works for over a year while a site was selected and decisions made about design and layout. CLV has provided some financial support and the layout will grow as funds become available. There is much work to be done, but the group is moving forward at full throttle. The 18ft. x 28 ft. Train Room is located on the Terrace Level of 1000 Weller Circle. For safety and security, the room is locked and keys issued to members. The room is divided between O-gauge and HO-gauge with separate tables for each gauge constructed by members. Tentative track layouts are configured on a computer. It won’t be long before the group begins painting scenery and laying track. Come join this energetic group to start a new adventure or just reminisce about your trains. Meetings are scheduled as needed and work in the train room is ongoing. For more information, contact Pat Davis at 443-605-1025 or Bob Deurer at 410-857-5252. In the years that followed, many of the Steps ignored the conventional wisdom ("Don't quit your day job!"), and although not all of the current members of the Steps are former Capitol Hill staffers, taken together the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. This 90 minute show is sure to be packed full of post election humor! Ticket cost is $20.00 and transportation will be provided, departing CLV at 6:00 p.m. and returning around 10:00 p.m. Paid reservations accepted at the Hospitality Concierge Desk or by calling 443-605-1094 beginning Tuesday, October 7 at 8:30 a.m.
