Most of us spend our lives pursuing one path but secretly wishing we had time to pursue others. Maybe
you’ve always thought you’d like to try to write poetry or start a book, but you never had the time. Maybe
you’ve always wanted to try your hand at sculpture or painting. Perhaps over the years you’ve expressed an interest in learning to play the piano, learning a new language, traveling to distant lands, or taking up a new hobby.
Whatever your interests, you’ll have the opportunity to explore them at Carroll Lutheran Village. We have a painting class that meets once a week, where you’ll learn to paint in whatever medium you like. Our arts and crafts
classes explore flower arranging, ceramics, screen painting and a host of other art forms. If you are serious about taking up the piano, we offer piano lessons twice a week with a qualified teacher. Trips planned by Village staff have included destinations such as Vermont, Capon Springs as well as local sights such as Ladew Topiary
Gardens and the Hippodrome Theater.
And for those who always had an interest in dancing but felt they had two left feet, we offer weekly
classes in ballroom dancing and line dancing. At Carroll Lutheran Village, we believe these can be the best
years of your life. You have the time to explore your hidden passions. That’s one of the pure joys of retirement living at Carroll Lutheran Village.
